Romans 14 – Part two

Sunday, 6 April 2014

Continuing through the book of Romans, the second part of Chapter 14 covered judging ourselves rather than others in relation to Christian liberty. We saw the importance of not being a stumbling block to others and not giving any occasion for offence against others.  This means accepting preferences as preferences and not as commandments but being aware of other’s preferences and respecting them where this doesn’t go against our own convictions.

In the evening, we continued through the series by Dr. Jim Berg on “Quieting a Noisy Soul” with Lesson 13 – Clearing Your Conscience With God.
